I'm 4'9" and 103 lbs and got these in xs Ivy and thought they might be too long, but went for it anyways because the price was too low to turn down! I got the older version with the snap button closure and was pleasantly surprised that they weren't too long or baggy. Maybe there's a size difference between colors?

The shorts hit me at the upper thigh (kind of like on the model) and offers a nice fit - not too loose, just a little bit of a stretch. The leg openings are flush against my thigh and very slimming. I'm in my early 30's and transitioning from shopping at Delia's and Hollister's - and these are definitely a good fit! Not too short/revealing, but definitely short and fitted enough on me that it doesn't look like mom shorts at all. I've had a few pairs of Not Your Daughters Jeans and DKNY shorts - those definitely fit like mom shorts. These are kind of an in-between juniors and womens size, which is perfect.
