I don't know what that person did to tear them up the first time they wore them. I am a certified Kettlebell Instructor. I Instruct classes at a local gym two evenings a week.
I work out with kettlebells exclusively, and am always using them, coming up with different routines for my classes, etc. Since ordering these, I use them every time I pick up a kettlebell. I have excellent form but I'm not a machine, sometimes on a snatch, maybe one rep hits wrong and there would be a bruise, as I use a 22 pound kettlebell, and being a lady, I have small wrists.

Before purchasing these, I wore the extra wide terry cloth type wrist band and they are no comparison to these. I'm ordering a second pair tonight, just to have an extra pair put away in case I loose one or they quit making them.

I cannot say enough good about them.
