I have solar watches and atomic time keeping watches but this is the first that does both - and much more. Besides being eye catching and keeping perfect time without winding or batteries, this watch has nice little "extras" such as auto illumination when turned toward user's face, indicators for everthing from power reserve to signal strength of atomic signals. Another nice extra is that all these options can be turned on and off easily so one has a truly customized watch. It is rugged and can even take a plunge in water up to 200 feet which means, under normal circumstances, you don't have to take is off at the beach or pool and worry about having it lost or stolen and you can even wear it in the shower to be sure you are on schedule for a bus, car pool etc. It is not a "petite" watch, by any means, but most men want something substantial on their wrist, especially during sports or outdoor activities. I will add a user photo of the watch on my wrist to give potential buyers some additional information. Be aware that the silver numerals on a red background hinders an easy reading of the time.
