I didn't find this product either sharp-edged or unattractive, but one side of the clasp refused to remain closed; I caught myself constantly checking and having to close it throughout the day. This created worries about eventually dropping and damaging or outright losing my watch. For this reason, I decided to return this product and (maybe in the future when I have more money) try the Hadley-Roma one. Additionally, after a full day of wear, I found this clasp to be less comfortable than the one found on a stock leather strap, though I do agree that this product would definitely do it's job of extending the longevity of any leather strap.
