Stott Pilates Power and Agility Reformer Intervals on the Cardio-Tramp Rebounder DVD Set Review

I want to start by saying that I really enjoyed the actual workout part of the DVD. But I have only used it twice because it takes FOREVER for the DVD to finally allow you to start the workout. Not only do I have to sit through warnings and commercials that I cannot bypass before getting to the menu, I then have to fast forward a few minutes past the introductions. There is no chapter marker for when the actual workout starts, which seem so strange to me.

After seeing all of their warnings, commercials and introductions once, sitting through them again is really boring! It takes more than 5 minutes.

If you aren't a busy person and don't mind sitting around waiting for your DVD to start I think you will be happy with the workout. It's too bad. The instructor and helpers did a great job, they just hired the wrong person to create the physical DVD.

Century® Dual Grip Medicine Ball - Black 20 Lb Review

I have been shopping for some new home workout items and started with kettle-bells, but purchased these dual-grip medicine balls.
These are great because they work as both.
I upgraded from large Tide detergent containers, which were about 18 pounds, so these 20 pound balls were perfect.
My only complaint, keeping from 5 stars, is the handholds don't leave much room, so the casing scrapes my knuckles during exercising.
I suppose lightweight gloves would solve that problem.

I assembled this unit last night and for $700 it is a pretty solid unit. The unit is very well built; clean welds, super beefy steel, completely assembled I think this thing easily weighs in over 200 pounds. The BowFlex 3.1 bench is a complete joke compared to the quality of this build. I love the versatility of the workouts you can get from this power tower. The assisted dips and pull ups is the best functionality I've seen yet in any home gym. Super glad I bought this unit. And with a lifetime warranty I have no worries - not that I will ever need to call it. If you have the discipline to work out at home, get this unit. It is super.

ASICS Men's Core Pocketed Running Short,Iron,X-Large Review

In looking for running shorts I have a couple of critical criteria that I look for. The shorts should have a good inner brief...not too tight but provides a bit of support. It should have a key pocket in the front that is just big enough to hold a single key and it should have a flap over the top to prevent it from jarring loose (real disaster to find that your car key found its way out somewhere on the last 10 miles of trail when you return...don't ask it happened.). Fabric should be light weight to not weigh you down and the length shouldn't constrict your running or prevent good air circulation to keep you cool. These shorts hit the mark on all of these items. They also boast slash side pockets that when empty you don't even know they're there. But give you a place to put your key ring and wallet when you hit the juice bar (or whatever) following your run....(don't have to change shorts in your car!)
Longevity wise, time will tell. The brief elastic is a bit thin and is already beginning to loose it's ability to return after about a year. I usually look to get 5+ years out of my shorts using them once per week and machine washing (drip dry). So far so good.
