This towel works like a swamp cooler for your body. You soak it in water and place it around your neck with the two hanging tips going under your shirt. You don't even have to worry about your shirt getting wet because this towel is DRY to the touch despite being drenched with cooling water. There's no need to pour cold liquid or freeze the towel, any water source will make it cool to the touch. It's great for our Southern California summers, it's also nice to have when barbecuing because it gets hot out here.

The material is man-made fibers, it's washable, has SPF protection and comes with a storage tube much like the PVA absorber car wash towels. I'm not sure if it's mold/mildew resistant yet and no instructions are provided on storage (wet or dry?), but I will report back soon if this towel gets moldy when stored wet. Other than that, this is an expensive towel but a necessity for hot summers outdoors. Also keep in mind if you have a neck greater than 16.5", this may not wrap all the way around and tuck under your shirt, it might just have to sit on your shoulders because it barely wraps around my 16.5" neck.
