Weighted Belt w/20 lb. Review

I started a walking program about 6 months ago. I found a very steep hill that I walk up & down. I've taken off 25 pounds, but I have reached a point where I am either going to have to add more hills or start running, niether of which I want to do. I bought this belt & started with only 6 pounds in the belt & let me tell you, it makes quite a difference! I feel the difference walking on a flat surface, but when doing hills, it is amazing how much more of a workout 6 pounds can make!

The belt is very comfortable. It doesn't pinch or bind. It has 10 pouches around the outside which each hold a 2 pound sand pack. It has a long velcro strap so you can really cinch it in place so there is zero slippage while walking.

I chose a weighted belt over a weighted vest because I think in the summer it will be cooler. I found another brand of weighted belt, but it was much more expensive.

This is definitely one of my better fitness purchases. Highly recommended!

JumpSport 45 cm Small Red Hoppy Ball Review

You can use the hoppy ball anywhere, but my kids love using it on the trampoline as it gives them a double-bounce. They offer two sizes for larger and smaller children and my two kids will race around after each other giggling their heads off.

Oh, and by the way, wearing off some of that energy that can wear us moms out. I will let my kids play on the trampoline for 30-40 minutes before nap time and works like a charm.

prAna Women's Bliss Shorts, X-Small, Raspberry Review

I'm 4'9" and 103 lbs and got these in xs Ivy and thought they might be too long, but went for it anyways because the price was too low to turn down! I got the older version with the snap button closure and was pleasantly surprised that they weren't too long or baggy. Maybe there's a size difference between colors?

The shorts hit me at the upper thigh (kind of like on the model) and offers a nice fit - not too loose, just a little bit of a stretch. The leg openings are flush against my thigh and very slimming. I'm in my early 30's and transitioning from shopping at Delia's and Hollister's - and these are definitely a good fit! Not too short/revealing, but definitely short and fitted enough on me that it doesn't look like mom shorts at all. I've had a few pairs of Not Your Daughters Jeans and DKNY shorts - those definitely fit like mom shorts. These are kind of an in-between juniors and womens size, which is perfect.

I like this watch. Overall it is well designed and looks great on the wrist. Keeps great time so far (had it about a week). The buttons and functions work well and the layout of the watch is also well designed.
Negatives: does not light up well at night, if that is important I would not buy it. Also, the sub-dials on the chronograph could be broken down better.

Overall, I am glad I bought this and would recommend it.
